From where I live in San Francisco, I can see author Danielle Steel’s home on the next hill over. On more than one occasion I’ve watched the sun set from my roof, glanced toward her residence, the Spreckels Mansion, and wondered what it looks like inside. I’m not sure my imagination is big enough to picture all 55 rooms, but I bet Mark Cutler’s is.
Mark is the nationally recognized owner of a Los Angeles-based interior design firm and the author behind our Book of the Week, Mark Cutler DESIGN. This portrait-sized book is a beautiful business portfolio showcasing Mark’s interior design projects. The book’s subtitle is “The Luxury of Simplicity” and it delivers on that. The layout is elegant, simple, and stylish, which perfectly reflects Mark’s work. It will surely impress potential new clients.
And can we talk about timing? Just last week we blogged about the ways that professionals use Blurb books. Then Mark’s book hit our bookstore. We had to show it off. This is a prime example of how a book can promote a business.
Your talent jumps off the page, Mark. You impeccably design the interiors of homes and books. Congratulations on making Book of the Week. If you’re not buried in silken fabric swatches and imported marble samples, please let us know what your clients and colleagues think of your book. We think they’ll be floored, just like us.
