School’s out. Cable seems to be running a large number of high school movies and I keep catching Dazed and Confused, which never fails to make me laugh out loud. (Cue up some Foghat, people. I’m serious. Stop laughing.)
I’ve seen many yearbooks added to Blurb’s bookstore over the last couple of months. Official yearbooks and alternative ones for fringe groups, band, drama productions, sports teams, and individual classes. I love looking at them. It’s definitely the case of “the more things change, the more they stay the same.” The students may be much younger, with different points of cultural reference, but the photos and sweet/funny moments are just like the ones in my yearbook. Probably just like the ones in yours too. Well, almost the same; same poses, different hairstyles, less clothing, and more tattoos.
Congratulations to the following students, teachers, and parents for making these yearbooks with Blurb. If you want to find more, search the bookstore using words like “school” and “yearbook.”
