We love the wonderful world of type (and we’ve got plenty of ideas about how to choose the right fonts for books). So when we saw that The Font Feed had calculated the top ten typefaces used in award-winning book design, we just had to pass along the list. It starts with Minion, and ends with Din, and in between you’ll see Garamond, but surprisingly, no Helvetica. Check it out – maybe one of the winners is right for your next book.
And if you want to try out a ton of type to find one that’s just right for you, enter the word of your choice on this clever site, and you’ll see that same word repeated in any and all of the fonts on your computer (a great tool for your BookSmart books, right?).
