Wherever you are on May 2, 2010 be sure to have a camera, or camera phone, in hand. That’s the day chosen for the “Moment in Time” photography event sponsored by Lens, the New York Times photography blog.
Lens is asking photographers across the globe to capture the moment at exactly 15:00 UTC (the Lens blog post has a link to a time/day converter so you can see what time that is in your neighborhood). Participants can upload one photo and are asked to focus on one of nine general topics:
Nature and the Environment
Arts and Entertainment
Money and the Economy
Photos will appear on the Lens blog and the New York Times. Have fun, Blurbarians. Knowing the creative types you are, we expect tons of you will join in and become part of this great mosaic moment.
